Studies

In September 2019 we hosted our first exhibition alongside a good friend, Hayley McCrirrick. The exhibition was an exploration of the three materials we work with; clay, wood and linen.

This was a big step for our studio. It was the first time we’d put sustained focus into working on non-functional pieces. We began to think more about composition, surface and colour. We discovered how to display our work, how the materials worked gently together. We created panels of clay which allowed exploration without the constraints of function. Simple expressions of the material we work with every day.
